Getting things under way

Jemima says: "There are lots of gorgeous primulas and caledines naturalised in the grass so we have been careful not to disturb these areas."




Jemima planted a flowering quince (chaenomeles) and bluebells next to Carice.

Too late to plant daffodils for this year, so we'll order those in the summer and plant them for next spring, if everyone agrees.

The encroaching weeds have been cleared back and bark has been spread over the existing bed too as a temporary measure.
